The Dunes of Corralejo

A natural park, a few minutes from Corralejo.

The Dunes have a strong impact for the tourists for their great charm.

When Corralejo is reached by the airport, the Dunes appear suddenly beyond the Montaña Roja (Red mountain), it's a suggestive area of fine desert sand that ends on the beach, edged by the sea, with transparent waters and unbelievable tones of blue.

A fascinating landscape that takes your breath away.

Here you can meet various spacie of volatile, rodents and reptiles. It's a protected area, a natural park where some kinds of birds, as the Ayutardas and the Guirre, live. These birds are in danger of extinction.

In front of the Dunes there are some beautiful beaches as: Flagbeach, Playa del Burro and Playa del Morro.
